Sometimes, glitches work out for the better. Such is the case for Modern Warfare getting stuck in the third person point of view. It’s not the first and it’s definitely not the last. The only good thing about it is that if it’s here to stay, we’re glad it happened. Check out the video from Redditor Odd-Basket4064 below:
Funnily enough, it was not an isolated case. The same also happened a few months ago from Redditor Tkade14.
Of course it’s accidental and it’s apparently a glitch, but no one can deny how good it looks. Finally, those 200GB++ on your PC had finally paid off for once. Sadly, it’s not permanent despite actually looking quite splendid. Apparently, the glitch commonly occurs when someone is being revived, as the camera is pushed into third person as the little cutscene occurs. Weirdly enough, the camera would glitch and fail to revert back into first person, getting the player stuck in this third person point of view.
It’s highly reminiscent of how things went down in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, but you definitely don’t hear us complaining. Yes it’s a bug, it’s a glitch, but it definitely doesn’t render the game broken, unusable, or unplayable. So if you want to try this out, the key is to have the person reviving you leave the game in the middle of the action. This would render the revival incomplete, putting the camera on third person probably until the game ends. This hasn’t been the first time this glitch has occurred, and since it’s manifestation people have been trying to make it show up on various instances. We understand the clout it gives but it’s definitely far from being in the works, sadly.
What do you think of this glitch? Do you like it too like the others did? Do you have the same sentiments or are yours different? Let us know in the comments section below!
