Call of Duty – Nuketown ’84 is Looking Fancy

Bugs and glitches of the week aside, Activision and Treyarch had managed to bring us Nuketown ’84, a homage to the Wild Wild West in pure COD fashion. There’s a big Borderlands feels to it, especially with the setting in a remote junkyard that sports beat down trailers, graffitied establishments, and everything either in rust or ruin. Tasty for the eyes, fun for the game.

There’s been this easter egg on the loose for Nuketown ’84, in which gunning down some dummies’ heads around the map would reward you in a purple-tinted visual that’s paired with a retro synth track that easily gives off the vaporwave vibe to anyone playing. Pretty cool, ain’t it?

Double XP and a Nuketown 24/7 playlist go live when the map launches today and run through November 30th. What do you think of this little easter egg? Let us know in the comments section below!
