The attack helicopter has been causing glitches forcing devs to remove it from both Verdansk and Rebirth Island. Cheaters are reported to have been going invisible as they crash their war helicopters while using it’s minigun.
The exploit makes players invulnerable to MOST damages, but weirdly enough they can still be attacked by gas, vehicles, and explosive damage. A lot of clips had since then surface from overly frustrated players from around the world. It pushes people to lay off of battle royale, as it offers such a broken mechanic that lets everyone win easily as long as they get themselves a helicopter.
Redditor u/rayk10k reported that he and his team got slain to 3rd place, with the last 2 teams standing having trouble killing each other since they were both invisible. The match only ended when they met up at the final zone, as spectators of the game were furious enough to see that the entire 10-12 person team was all alive and invisible.
For what it’s worth, Treyarch, Activision, and Infinity Ward is yet to comment on this. We’ll keep tabs in this for you.
