Battle pass for Warzone’s season 6 has reached it’s end on schedule, but isn’t catching up with the season 7’s delayed release. Given that the season really would’ve ended and transitioned today, Infinity Ward and Activision seems to have mismanaged some foresight upon their 6 day late delay for Cold War’s Season 1 and Warzone’s Season 7.
People have been scratching their heads over the fact that the game didn’t at least let them finish the Battle Pass despite the delayed December 16th release, as the freebies from the recent patch really won’t make up for this wasteful move. For what it’s worth, the only big development so far is how Warzone and Modern Warfare had figured out to tie up with Cold War through the Prestige System.
Modern Warfare’s Enlisted Ranks have now been transformed into Military Levels for the upcoming Season 1 of Black Ops Cold War, ranging from 1 to 55 and with a lot of rewards in between. There would be a hard reset for all three games, but at least moving forward the XP gained for all three games would be cumulative across the board. That is indeed nifty, if you have the storage space for it.
