Highly Requested Feature is NOW Available in Black Ops Cold War Beta

You asked, Treyarch listened.

One of the most requested features from the PC is now available on all platforms. And as added bonus, they also added new HUD features.

Treyarch announced in one of their blog post that they will be adding a Field of View(FOV) Slider on all platforms for the first time. This is a way to optimize Black Ops Cold War cross-play experience and you could try it on the Beta access.

They also added a multiplayer Ping System to easily locate and communicate key objectives, loots, and enemies for your team mates. This will make communication with no-mic randoms easier. By default, the pings are located on the left D-Pad for controllers and ā€˜Z’ for keyboard. You can easily customize the pings and assign specific pings like Bumper Ping or Danger Ping in the settings.

HUD Visuals Toggles are also added for the best UI experience. Players can now toggle to show or hide crosshairs, ally or enemy health bars, player names, and compass.

Customize your HUD on your liking. This feature will also be available in the Beta Access of the game.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War beta access will be available on October 8 – 12 for exclusively for PlayStation 4 players. Xbox and PC players will have first-time access on October 15 – 19.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is set to be released on November 13.
