Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War is continually teased despite the game nearing its release on November 13. As much as the speculations have been surrounding, a new supplementary ARG is about to be released, as it was teased by Treyarch in their official Twitter account.
Treyarch hasn’t really been skimping in teasing the fans with content that hypes their game from time to time. This time, the teaser reveals that the hooded figure from the past ARG releases was actually William Bowman. Just in case you have forgotten, he’s the son of Joseph Bowman, Ice Cube’s character back in the first Black Ops game released in 2010. Joseph was known to have worked with Woods and Mason but was killed untimely by some Russian interrogator. Now, his son William seems to have been avenging the death of his father.
On a side note, a new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War trailer had just been released a while ago, as the trailer emphasizes the 80s vibe of the game by throwing you back to the days of the Cold War. The title may be confusing, but the appeal never seems to die. The game allows for single player campaigns to be enjoyed alongside a multiplayer option that has been tied with Call of Duty: Warzone.
The game releases on November 13 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. Note that if you want to maximize the game as you have a current gen console but is awaiting for the next-gen, get yourself a cross-gen copy so you can easily import your achievements across the platforms.
