CD Projekt Red Allows For Cyberpunk 2077 Mods

Some may call it “being meta”, but as of now we feel as if CDPR has just given up on their own game and has let players fix it themselves instead. With the release of Modding Support Tools straight from CD Projekt Red as posted on the official Cyberpunk 2077 website, it’s clear how supportive the devs are of allowing players to toy with the game, while also it kind of reads on how they have pretty much given up and just let players fix the game on their own.

Broken-as-fuck Patch 1.1 aside, modders have been doing their best to make the game more playable or as astounding as the announcement trailer ever since Cyberpunk 2077 was released back in December 10. One notable mod recently uploaded to Nexus Mods, for example, allows players to (thankfully enough) let you play the game in 3rd person. A different mod fixed the game’s frustrating mini-map, while yet another – CITY H4CK from Nexus Mods – expands hacking options in Night City. Interestingly, the latter enables options such as unlocking all interactable doors, hacking cars, and switching off myriad city devices.

Case in point, the “tools” released on the official site would supposedly help in players dutifully fixing whatever CDPR managed not to, while also allowing for updates from time to time and a sense of a more connected community.
