As some sort of apology, CD Projekt Red decides to give out free DLCs come 2021 as some sort of compensation for their broken game. Promising as things should have been, there’s still not much information to it. The only thing accessible as of this moment in Cyberpunk’s official website is the burgeoning anxiety of another CD Projekt Red promise everyone is rooting for.
In a company conference call last September 2020, CD Projekt Red admitted that they’re planning to partake on the same roadmap for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in terms of releasing add-ons and expansions. With The Witcher 3 receiving 2 expansions that added roughly 20-30 hours of gameplay along with 16 free-add on packs, the same is more or less expected for Cyberpunk 2077. Hopefully, that doesn’t change despite the bad press and all the slanderous slinging of verbiage.
With people still exploring Night City and finding things where they should or shouldn’t have been, the possibilities that the future holds for this set of updates truly are exciting as they are daunting.
