Frustrating as it may be that Cyberpunk 2077 players can only get it on with Panam, modders have recently uncovered that the same can also be done for Judy. Rogue’s braindance right-hand woman proves to be more than meets the eye, transcending from a lesbian to a bisexual thanks to some voice clips found by the community. The lines hold the same, the only difference it holds is that it’s the male V voice talking instead of the female one. Here’s how it looks like:
However, CD Projekt Red retorted that the lines were only recorded by the male voice for safety with regards to overlooks and production difficulties. If we put it in their words verbatim, this is what the spokesperson had to say:
“It was simply more convenient and easier for our localisation team from a production point of view to record all lines with both voices, so we could avoid missing something by mistake that would require future recordings.”
As the small code tweak allows for the male player to proceed in romancing Judy Alvarez, bugs do exist – with male V’s hands clipping throughout the scene and Carol still referring to you as a “girl” alongside Judy. Oh well, we’re more or less used to it by now, CD Projekt Red.
