With Chapter 2 Season 4 ending soon after the PlayStation 5 release, players are starting to wonder what’s in store for them if they switch to the new PlayStation 5.
Right now, Fortnite’s numbers are pretty good. With Marvel Nexus War coming and Chapter 2 Season 4 ending soon, fans can’t help but wonder what’s next for the game.
Luckily, a popular name in the Fortnite community HYPEX tweeted some sweet leaks for us.
HYPEX mentioned in his tweet a ‘confirmed’ PlayStation 5 skin. The Ginger Renegade skin also suggests a Christmas-themed content in Season 5.
Epic Games has not confirmed any of this yet, so we have to wait for the official announcement. For now, I do hope they are doing something about the pickaxe bug. This bug turns your trusty pickaxe into a bazooka. While this is not completely a bad thing. It can be annoying if you get hit by this bug early.
Meanwhile, here’s a confirmed skin that just hit the item shop.
For Fortnite players planning to migrate to the PlayStation 5, currently the game runs on Unreal Engine 4. But developers confirmed that they will be bringing Unreal Engine 5 support in 2021.
This will not be a new game, but an update to take advantage of the new-gen consoles power. The game will also support cross-play and cross-gen progression. That means all your progress and purchases will be saved and can be used when you play on different consoles or the PC.
