In a current Reddit thread, the developers are talking about news in the announced 5.3 update. However, the release will not take place today: The patch will not be available for download until Thursday, August 23.
Additionally, according to the developers, the tasks for week 7 of the Fortnite Season 5 will only go online on Friday – one day later than usual. Since there is no change log out yet it is not yet clear which changes are to come in Fortnite Update 5.3.
Also, Epic Games has yet to give out any reasons for the delay.
However, the patch notes for the update should be available shortly before the release of the update. Players will then also know what content will be added to the Battle Royale mode. Keep your heads up on the Fortnite Section on our page for coming updates about the 5.3 update!
