The Xbox Smart Deliverytechnology”.

“So what is this Smart delivery and why should I be excited for this?” you may ask.

Imagine upgrading your Xbox One to the new Series X. Playing in native 4k resolution, 120Hz with ray tracing. Superfast loading times with the Series X’s SSD. So satisfying, right?

Then a sudden wave of nostalgia hits you. You miss your favorite Xbox One game. You want to play it for old time’s sake. You load it in your new Series X but you feel disappointed. It’s not up to par with the latest Series X games.

It got you thinking, “If I want to play my favorite game, I would have to buy an upgraded version.” More money out your pocket, right?

Usually, this would be the case. But thanks to Xbox’s new Smart Delivery feature. Your old games will be upgraded to its new version for free.

That’s right. Microsoft is pushing new cross-generation technology, allowing players the best version of the game all the time.

One good example is Cyberpunk 2077. If you buy the Xbox One copy and you upgraded your console to the Series X, the game will also be upgraded once the developers release the optimized Series X version.

This feature makes your game always up-to-date regardless of the console generation you’re using.
