I’m totally in lesbians about this news, as Ubisoft teams up with Limited Run Games for the 2021 re-release of the critically acclaimed Scott Pilgrim game. Aptly titled Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition, three types of packages: The Complete Edition, The Classic Edition, and The K.O. Edition. Here’s the packages as tweeted:
What majorly differs across the box sets sit heavily on the inclusions, as the bigger sets include more memorabilia such as a “hardshell roadie case box” that opens up to a pop-up scene of Scott’s band rocking out, a CD soundtrack (from the one and only sensational chiptune band Anamanaguchi), sticker sheet, and a folded map of the game’s overworld.
The physical releases are only available for Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4, but the digital releases of the game are available for Google Stadia, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One. If we all recall, the game was delisted and met with much sadness back in December 2014 as licensing agreements have expired. But as of September 2020, Ubisoft promised this momentous re-release that had manifested just today.
