Skill Based Matchmaking has been rendered useless by the Call of Duty Warzone Companion App, as it easily reveals the K/D stats of players which makes it easy for people to leave games and opt for a lobby with easier opponents.
Really good players have been coined to be hackers, blurring the fine line in between distingushing actual prodigies against filthy hackers. Since the app isn’t actually supported by COD developers, they don’t really have much legislation over it and how it goes and prospers.
Twitter user JaredFPS goes rambling on about the app, sharing his take on how it may help and/or prove disastrous in the long run.
