Sorry, Sony. It was nice rooting for the Playstation 5 while it lasted. I didn’t want it to be this way either. All I need now is $499 by November 10 and I am all set.
Pre-orders for the Series X and Series S can be availed starting September 22, as announced by Microsoft just a few minutes ago. With the official release of both consoles happening on November 10, you can expect the Xbox Series X to be priced at $499 and the Xbox Series S to be priced at $299.
The only stark difference from these two is that one is apparently stronger than the other, with the Series S only capable to work for games in digital format. To add, the Series S is generally thrice weaker, but still capable to deliver at around 1440p. For the Series X on the other hand, expect 4K gameplay at 60 to 40 fps.
I guess the wisest thing to do now is keep your eyes peeled on Microsoft’s site for pre-orders. If that doesn’t work for you, there’s still Target, Costco, GameStop, Walmart, Best Buy or Amazon to get the job done.
So which one are you getting? Series X or Series S? Let us know in the comments section below!
