The Bus Perry Aggression Questionnaire has released some shocking statistics, and it showed how roughly 1000 gamers become toxic when coming to playing their beloved games.
With a quick peek on the numbers, you can easily spot how toxic people can be when being recreational on online games, with the top games being Battlefield, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, FIFA, and Animal Crossing. If you think Animal Crossing just got lost there, nope, it’s actually a thing.
The survey had managed to skim through PC, Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo Switch, and mobile gaming, so being on the top spot here would really be saying a lot. For the Xbox, most occurences of toxicity happen in terms of Hostility, Anger, Verbal Aggression, and Physical Aggression. yikes.
To be fair, Animal Crossing ranked as the game with the most aggressive players, while the one who has the most hostile following was Minecraft. To add more pain to the statistics, there are roughly 438 broken Xbox and Playstation controllers combined that were damaged out of sheer aggression and pissery.
