In case you missed the PS5 showcase, here are the games and details they revealed.
Final Fantasy XVI
Right of the bat, Sony revealed Final Fantasy XVI. The trailer showed some gameplay footage and cinematics which looked astounding! They didn’t give any additional details but the game would be a PS5 exclusive.
Spider-man: Miles Morales
Sony also showed some gameplay trailer of Spider-man: Miles Morales on a bridge fighting some bad dudes and saving civilians from a falling bus.
Hogwarts Legacy
Sony revealed a Harry Potter open-world RPG. The game is set in the 1800s. You won’t play as Harry Potter or any of the popular characters from the book or movie series. But expect a lot of monster-slaying and spell casting in this game on the Hogwarts grounds.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Multiplayer Alpha
Sony teased Call of Duty fans with some first look of the newest game in the franchise. But more importantly, they announced the multiplayer alpha starting September 18.
Resident Evil Village
Sony revealed a trailer of Resident Evil: Village. The 8th game in the franchise. Set in some creepsville, complete with a creepy old lady and creepy villagers. Horror fans would surely love this game in PS5 graphics and 3D audio.
Demon’s Soul
They also showed a gameplay trailer of the PS3 hit Demon’s Soul and looked absolutely stunning!
Oddworld: Soulstorm
A new Oddworld game was also revealed promising fans a badder, bolder, more brutal game with the PS5.
Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach
Do you love jump scares? Then this game is right up your alley.
Devil May Cry V: Special Edition
Vergil as a playable character, yes please!
Fortnite
Fortnite showed some first-look footage of the game in the Unreal Engine 4. It will be available for free on the PS5 launch day.
God of War: Ragnarok
And capping the games reveal and trailers is the much anticipated God of War: Ragnarok in 2021.
Playstation Plus Collection
They also introduced the Playstation Plus Collection. A bunch of PS4 classics available for download and free to play when the PS5 launches.
PS5 Price and Release Dates
And at last, Sony officially dropped its prices and release dates.
The Playstation 5 will be launched earlier, November 12 in the United States, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea.
The Worldwide release will follow 1 week later, November 19.
