Metal Gear Solid Full Remake, Exclusively for the PS5 and PC

Rumor has it that the PlayStation 1 classic is now in development.

The PlayStation 1 classic, Metal Gear Solid is getting some Final Fantasy VII treatment. It is getting a full-on remake and is being built from the ground up.

RedGamingTech, a YouTube channel that specializes in gaming hardware, reported that Metal Gear Solid is being developed for the PlayStation 5 and PC exclusively.

Aside from Metal Gear Solid, other Metal Gear titles like Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will soon be available in the PlayStation 5 but not as a remake, but as an HD remaster.

All of this news came from RedGamingTech’s credible source that has a 100% track record when it comes to these rumors.

With Microsoft’s move against Sony, this remake would be huge for Sony and PlayStation fans.

This could also breathe new life to the Stealth Genre that has been slowly fading thanks to the rise of fast-paced battle royale games.

While the remake news is highly possible, it is not clear when will the game hit the shelves. “I am unsure how far along the development is for Metal Gear Solid 1,” RedGamingTech said.

Not unless Konami wants to give us a nice holiday surprise this 2020. *fingers crossed*

Expect stunning visuals *cough* Sniper Wolf *cough* and new gameplay mechanics like what they did with the Final Fantasy VII remake.
