Sony Entertainment Interactive(SIE) Japan Asia participated in the ‘Try! PlayStation 5 on YouTube Gaming Week’ and Youtube Content Creators got to try the PlayStation 5 early. Here’s what they have to say.

According to the Japanese gaming site Dengeki Online, they reported that the PlayStation 5 runs almost completely silent, compared to the PlayStation 4’s jet engines.

The reviewer got the chance to play with the console for 1 hour 45 minutes. They reported that the PlayStation 5 was so silent, they have to check if the fans were running. They also said that the console remained cool throughout the gaming session.

The PlayStation 5 comes pre-installed with Astro’s Playroom and Godfall. The reviewer said that the difference between the PS4 and PS5 is huge.

“At first glance, it doesn’t look that different from the PS4, does it? But after playing the game, we found that there is a big difference between the benefits of PS4 and PS5.”

“There are some tactile sensations such as haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, but most importantly it’s all about loading speed. You don’t have to wait around unnecessarily while playing.”

Here you can see an Astro’s Playroom and Godfall gameplay footage. After the player fails the stage, the level is reset almost in an instant. What crazy fast loading speed. Players can get right back in action with little to no downtime.

This is all possible because of the custom SSD although reports say that the SSD has only 625GB of usable storage.

Are you impressed with the PS5’s SSD speed?
