Adventure Sync feature coming soon to Harry Potter: Wizards Unite

Let’s be honest, we’ve all been waiting for the feature ‘Adventure Sync’ to come to Harry Potter: Wizards unite. Good news, it’s been confirmed that we’ll see the feature being added pretty soon!

As you can see in the above image, there was a post on Reddit where one of the users, named BoonSlevin, posted about how Mary Casey confirmed the update during the Wizards Unite panel at SDCC. As it shows, the feature could possibly already be in the games next update.

What is ‘Advanture Sync’ and how do make use of it?

In case you haven’t played Pokemon Go yet or haven’t heard of the feature before, let me explain it to you:

Adventure Sync makes you able to connect Wizards Unite with Apple Health for Apple devices and Google Fit for Android devices. With this new feature you can still make progress without really playing the mobile game by covering distance to unlock your Portkeys.

When Wizards Unite is started and clicked away again, so that it’s still on in the background of your smartphone, thanks to the Adventure Sync the distances you have covered are still measured.

What we know so far from Adventure Sync thanks to Pokemon Go

When Pokémon Go is running in the background and you have walked new distances, the progress will be synchronized when you open the game. The player also receives a weekly summary of the progress made in terms of how many kilometers you have covered for hatching eggs. You can find this progression via your Trainers profile. With the Adventure Sync you get push notifications when your Pokémon has found a Candy or when a Pokémon egg is ready to hatch. We expect this to work in a similar way for Wizards Unite.

Are you excited for the feature? Does this perhaps help you become more active again in the game? Let us know in the comments below!
