Microsoft stunningly retracts its price hike after the echoing woes of fans and gamers alike from all around the world. After planning to turn the Xbox Live Gold subscriptions into $11 for one month, $30 for three months, and $60 for 6 months (that’s £8, £22, and £43 respectively in the UK), they decided to revert the prices back to its original form as people had aggressively retorted at the company’s rude decision.
To add, they even managed to decide that Microsoft would now also remove the need to have a live Xbox Live Gold sub to play free-to-play games, bringing it in line with Sony and Nintendo’s similar subscription services. Really big oopsie on their end, if you ask me.
