Hell just might be the thing that had lain down to manifest inside the Xbox Series X, as the quiet fan it has is also giving it a bit of a heat problem. A journalist who recently got their hands on the new-gen console for review has cited this problem with the machine albeit everything else working like a dream.
Jeux Video’s Ken Bogard had thrown the proper accolades and praises towards the Xbox Series X, with only the glaring problem being it’s inability to cool the fuck down. Problem is that the Twitch stream has since then been removed, with no reason or explanation whatsoever.
The problem with this one was that he was only playing backwards compatible titles and checking on the menus, but the heat radiating off the Series X is still highly reminiscent of a radiator. With the more GPU and processor-heavy Xbox Series X games, would a meltdown actually occur?
Even Giant Bomb host Jeff Bakalar had the same sentiments to share, proving the the new-gen Microsoft beauty is actually a flaming piece of new technology. Aside from that, the fan is indeed quiet and the backward compatibility does work, the real question left for us to learn about is that if it can actually hold onto working with new-gen games and not, well, melting.
